What is AmiDeb and what it isn’t.

AmiDeb is a bare Linux install with just enough to run FS-UAE.
It is NOT Amilator, but is based on the idea’s of Amilator.

At the end of the installation of AmiDeb you have a real Debian Linux system, with the benefit of being able to update and customize the system. (Unlike Amilator)

The aim of AmiDeb is to be as sleek as possible, and not have the extra processing power that a GUI plus all it’s crap ensures. The system boot’s to a “Text” based menu, and gives various menu options.

There is “NO” gui system installed at all in the default setup.
